About me...

I'm an Art Hobo and I'll create for food.My real name is Oscar Molina Cansino and I was born on October 3rd, 1980 in a small Mesoamerican country. For the time being, I am living in Bussoleno, a nice little town in the Italian province of Turin, from where I try to make an honest living doing the thing I love the most: Art. Sorry if I seem kind of pretentious, but it's true. I just can't help loving Art and almost anything that has to do with creativity. Since "Art" is such a broad definition, I had always been trying and experimenting with all kinds of media. Even though I feel an unconditional love for illustration, comics and fiction writing, I also specialize in webdesign, publishing, editorial and logo design, filmmaking and video editing, 2D & 3D animation, 3D modelling, photography and journalism. Since a few years I've been interested in game design, and I hope to try a shot at making a carreer with enough work and preparation. Only time will tell.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communications and a Master's Degree in Multimedia Technology. I like to cook, social networking, reading comics and books, surfing the web, playing videogames and watching movies, and taking out my pets for a walk, just like everybody else. As you can figure out from what I said before, I am kind of a "Jack of All Trades" type of person while I try to get over the "Master of None" part. The computer programs I use the most to work are:

  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • Premiere & After Effects
  • Flash
  • Audition
  • InDesign
  • Corel Draw, Photopaint & Painter
  • Open Canvas
  • Maya, 3D Studio Max, Blender & Wings 3D
  • Audacity
  • Dreamweaver
  • HTML Kit
The computer languages I work the most on are html, xhtml, css, actionscript, javascript and xml. Please bear in mind that I am not a programmer by a long shot. I also like to make comics and illustrations on traditional media, being watercolors, pen & ink, acrillycs and dry pastel chalks among my favorites.

I have another gallery on Deviant Art and a newly started blog at Live Journal (the last one got hacked D=). You can find both in the Contact section, among my other social network profiles. To get more detailed information about my carreer and work, please download my extended resumé(i.e. it's quite long). It's written according to European Curriculum Vitae standards.
